I appreciated the trendy interior and friendly staff at Malmaison Manchester. but my stay had its hiccups. The breakfast was a bit hit or miss. though I enjoyed the fresh fruit and homemade muesli. The cold eggs Benedict really didn’t hit the mark, and the promised discount for room issues never came through. Overall, it had potential but needs some polishing.

Rooms

My room was adequate. clean and comfortable, though the bathroom taps were frustratingly close to the sink. Unfortunately, my friends had to switch rooms because of temperature issues, which was concerning.
Service

The staff were proactive and aimed to help throughout my stay. though I had a lack of follow-up regarding the promised discount from the temperature problem. My check-in experience was smooth, thanks to a friendly gentleman.

I enjoyed the breakfast buffet with its selection of fresh fruits, but the ordering for main meals could use improvement. one day I received hard boiled eggs instead of soft ones.
Facilities

The hotel had good amenities. even though the absence of a mini fridge was a downside, the available room service was a nice touch.

I had a pretty good time at Malmaison Manchester, but there were a few bumps along the way. The location is super convenient, just a hop from the train station and the city center. However, the room I stayed in had a bit of a tired feel to it, with some paint chips and an uncomfortable quilt. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was decent, but some menu items I wanted were unavailable. Overall, I'd consider going back, but maybe with lower expectations.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Malmaison Manchester. The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring my needs were met throughout my visit. However, I found some cleanliness issues in my room, particularly in the bathroom. Despite the excellent location and potential for a great experience, I couldn't shake off the feeling that the hotel could use some updates to match my expectations from previous stays in other Malmaison locations.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in an executive room, which was a good size but felt somewhat shabby with chipped tiles and stained carpets. The cleanliness was lacking, especially in the bathroom where I found a lot of hairs in the bathtub.
Service

Dining

I enjoyed Sunday brunch, which was a great deal with a huge selection of starters and attentive service. However, breakfast the next day was disappointing, as I found the continental options lacking in quality.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like room service and housekeeping were available, but I noticed some inconsistencies in the upkeep of the room which fell short of expectations for a four-star hotel.

My room was tastefully decorated in a 60's style, which I absolutely loved. though there were some cleanliness issues mentioned during my stay that keep me from giving a perfect score.

I had a lovely one-night stay at Malmaison Manchester in an executive room. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, especially Hannah at check-in, who ensured everything was perfect for us. However, the room was a bit compact and slightly noisy due to the traffic outside. Overall, it was a nice stay largely due to the quality of service and food.
